It’s About Value

The PMA Strategic Portfolios feature exchange-traded funds (ETFs), automated management and access to licensed advisors — all for a straightforward fee.

  • Account service and benefits, including automatic diversification, quarterly account rebalancing, and access to licensed Prudential advisors. Each quarter, we’ll deduct an advisory fee based on your account balance. (Each tier applies to that portion of your assets.)
  • Investment monitoring. We regularly review the ETFs in your portfolio, and we’ll replace any fund if we identify a better one that meets our screening criteria.
  • A low minimum. You can open an account with as little as $5,000.
  First From Above
Account Value $100k $100k to $500k $500k
Annual Fee: 0.79% 0.69% 0.59%

Example: If your average daily balance for a quarter is $150,000, after that quarter we’ll deduct approximately $196 for the first $100,000 and $86 for the next $50,000.*

*Assuming 2Q18. Fee calculation based on annual fee x days in the quarter/365.

What you won’t pay for

Account transactions

You won’t pay commissions if we buy and sell shares to rebalance your account.

Advertising fees and loads

Many mutual funds have “loads” (fees when you buy or sell shares), and some charge “12b-1” fees to cover the cost of promoting the funds—to other investors!

More taxes than you need to

Due to how they trade on exchanges, ETFs can generate lower taxes on capital gains than mutual funds that hold the same investments.
