Business Diversity Outreach, a branch of Prudential's Community Resources Department, connects Prudential to diverse markets. By bringing Prudential's business and sales professionals into direct contact with communities whose needs are often marginalized-including African-Americans, Latinos, Asian-Americans, gay men, lesbians, bisexuals and transgenders, and women-we can forge new and mutually beneficial relationships. At the same time, Business Diversity Outreach showcases employment and financial education opportunities to members of these markets.
The Business Diversity Outreach unit represents an integration of corporate and business-specific resources, both financial and human, to accomplish several specific goals:
- Facilitate opportunities for Prudential's businesses in selected communities through sponsorships and related activities
- Increase Prudential's presence in selected communities
- Enhance opportunities for the recruitment, development, and retention of a diverse pool of employees
The strategic partners of Business Diversity Outreach are known for their social, civic, and economic engagement in communities across the country, and include recognized organizations such as the Association of Latino Professionals in Finance and Accounting, the Lesbian Gay Bisexual and Transgender Community Center of New York, 100 Black Men of America, the Asian American Real Estate Association, and The Women's Presidents' Organization.
