Season 2 Hosted by Laura Ling

Laura Ling is an Emmy award-winning journalist and producer. She’s traveled the world to report on slave labor in the Amazon, the drug war in Mexico, Internet censorship in China, and women’s rights in Turkey.

Her documentaries have investigated topics such as teen suicide, the challenges faced by military spouses, and underground youth subcultures in America.

While reporting on the trafficking of North Korean women, Ling and a colleague were arrested and held captive for 140 days before being granted a special pardon and returning to the United States.

Laura resides in Mill Valley, California with her husband and two children.

Meg Wilcox is a journalist, host and producer who has worked from Canada’s Parliament Hill to the Arctic Circle to the Rockies. One of her Everyday Bravery moments was picking up everything in 2014 and driving across Canada in a week to help build a radio station in Banff, Alberta.

Meg is now based in Calgary, Alberta, where she hosts a radio show on CKUA, makes podcasts and teaches journalism at Mount Royal University.
