1 If you need to sell a CD prior to maturity, you may be able to do so in the secondary market. Pruco Securities' clearing firm maintains a secondary market in CDs and it intends to continue doing so, although it is not obligated to do so. The price you receive in the secondary market may be higher or lower than the price you originally paid for the CD, depending on market conditions. CDs are not appropriate for routine trading. If you purchase a CD, you should generally do so with the intention of holding it until maturity. Generally, CDs should not be withdrawn prior to maturity since penalties will be applied.
2 Pruco Securities, LLC provides clients the ability to buy, sell and hold general securities (e.g., stocks, bonds, and ETFs), on an accommodation basis only and only with representatives who meet Pruco Securities' licensing and eligibility requirements.
