Our hiring process is all about you
Financial Services Associates (FSAs) are Prudential’s front-line connection to our valued customers, so we seek men and women who possess specific qualifications and characteristics. We make significant investments of time and funding for every FSA’s training and preparation for industry licensing requirements. To ensure that we hire people who can capitalize on our support, we have designed a thorough process to objectively predict potential for success within our dynamic sales organization.

What can you expect during our hiring process?
First and foremost, you can expect fair and equitable treatment. We appreciate your interest in Prudential and realize that you do have a choice of employers. You can trust that we will respect your time and efforts, and that we will do everything possible to ensure a positive experience for you. Our comprehensive process involves the following steps:

1) Introductory Meeting
This meeting will connect you with a Manager in a specific location, who will provide you with a clear understanding of the FSA position; what it entails and what will be expected from you. After hearing the details, you can then decide whether you want to proceed in our hiring process.

2) Assessment Phase
During this phase of the process, you’ll take a series of tests designed to assess your knowledge, skills, and aptitude in a variety of key areas, and determine your potential for success as an FSA.

3) Structured Interview
The objective of this interview is for a Manager to analyze your potential for prospecting, networking, and building relationships, as well as determining your natural sales skills, by exploring your past experiences and your ideas for creating and developing sales opportunities in your market.

4) Career Presentation Meeting
This important meeting with a Manager will provide you with realistic expectations for your performance and how your success as an FSA will be measured and rewarded.

5) Career Decision and Planning Meeting
In this final step, an employment offer is extended, allowing you to choose how and when you begin your training to become a Financial Services Associate. Prior to actually starting, you will need to pass a drug screen and background check.

Now you’re READY TO ROCK as a Prudential Financial Services Associate!
