George Philip (Phil) Waldeck, Jr.

Senior Vice President & Group Head

Phil Waldeck is a senior vice president and head of Prudential's $36 billion Pension & Structured Solutions business. Previously Phil led Prudential's Products & Advisory Services group, where his responsibilities included the delivery of advisory services, including actuarial consulting, to corporate and tax-exempt clients. He joined the company in 2004.

Prior to joining Prudential, Phil served as a senior vice president within CIGNA's Retirement business for nearly 20 years. He serves on the Board of the ERISA Industry Committee. Phil received a B.A., magna cum laude, from Tufts University and an M.B.A. from the University of Michigan.

Dylan J. Tyson, CFA®

Senior Vice President

Dylan Tyson is a senior vice president within Prudential's Pension & Structured Solutions business and is charged with overall responsibility for Prudential's $27 billion Pension Risk Transfer business.

Dylan joined Prudential in 1995 through Prudential's Advanced Management Development program and has gained more than a decade of defined benefit and Institutional Investment Product experience in a variety of roles at Prudential.

He received an A.B. in psychology and history with high honors from Stanford University, and an M.B.A. from The Anderson School at UCLA. Dylan is a CFA® Charterholder.

 
Amy R. Kessler

Amy R. Kessler

Senior Vice President

Amy Kessler is a senior vice president and head of Longevity Reinsurance within Prudential's Pension Risk Transfer business. Amy recently led Prudential's successful launch of this product with a transaction to reinsure the pension longevity risk of Rothesay Life, Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Goldman Sachs.   She joined Prudential in the fall of 2009. Prior to joining Prudential, Amy served as a principal at Bear Stearns and as Global Head of Pension ALM at Swiss Re in the United Kingdom. With over 20 years of financial services experience, she possesses both capital markets expertise and in-depth insight into the innovative pension risk transfer transactions occurring in the U.K.

Amy holds a B.A. in Economics and an M.A. in international economics and finance from Brandeis University, where she is a member of the Board of Overseers of the International Business School.

Margaret G. McDonald, FSA, MAAA, EA

Senior Vice President

Margaret (Peggy) McDonald is a senior vice president and the senior actuary within Prudential's Pension & Structured Solutions business. Prior to this role, Peggy served as an actuarial consultant to corporate plan sponsors for more than 20 years. Her expertise includes consulting with sponsors on plan design, funding, and accounting for both pension and retiree medical benefits, asset/liability modeling, and outsourcing of various types of pension plans.

Peggy holds a B.A. degree in economics from Smith College. She is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries, a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries, a Fellow of the Conference of Consulting Actuaries and an Enrolled Actuary under ERISA.

Nigel Nunoo, CFA®, FSA

Vice President

Nigel Nunoo is a vice president and actuary within Prudential’s Pension & Structured Solutions group, a position he assumed in 2010. In this role, he is responsible for pricing and asset-liability risk modeling for the Pension Risk Transfer deal team.

Prior to joining the Pension Risk Transfer team, he worked in the International Insurance business unit, focusing on actuarial and financial matters related to the International Reinsurance segment. He also served as the Regional Actuarial Advisor for Europe and as a member of the Strategic Initiatives Group. Nigel joined Prudential in 2002 through Prudential’s Actuarial Leadership Development Program.

He holds B.A. degrees in Mathematics and Economics from Wabash College, and an M.B.A. from Columbia University. He is also a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) and a CFA® Charterholder.

Susan Cannilla, CFA®

Vice President

Susan Cannilla is a vice president within Prudential’s Pension and Structured Solutions business.  In this capacity she is the product manager for Prudential’s $27 billion Pension Risk Transfer business.

Susan joined Prudential in 1984 and has held a variety of positions within Prudential’s Retirement business. This experience includes Stable Value pricing and product management. She was responsible for the Retirement Contract teams before she became product manager for many of Prudential’s pension risk transfer products in 1999.

Susan holds a B.A. in economics and political science from Douglass College, Rutgers University and her M.B.A. in Quantitative Management from Seton Hall University. She is also a CFA® Charterholder.

 
Glenn K. O'Brien

Glenn K. O'Brien

Managing Director

Glenn O'Brien is a managing director and head of distribution and client management for Prudential's Pension Risk Transfer efforts.

Glenn joined Prudential in 2001 and has held a variety of financial management positions within the organization.

Prior to joining Prudential, he worked as a principal in the retirement consulting practice of PricewaterhouseCoopers. There he consulted with numerous Fortune 100 clients on various aspects of their retirement plan programs, including investment strategies, outsourcing, technology, and design. Glenn began his career as a retirement consultant with the actuarial consulting firm of Kwasha Lipton.

Glenn earned a B.S. in finance from Siena College. He holds a Series 7 and 26 licenses and a 63 registration.

Scott E. Gaul, F.S.A.

Senior Vice President

Scott Gaul is a senior vice president of Consultant Relations supporting the Pension Risk Transfer market. He joined Prudential in 2004 and has held a variety of leadership positions. Most recently Scott was a member of the Strategic Leadership Team and led the Pricing and Financial Planning efforts for the Retirement business.

Prior to joining Prudential, Scott worked at CIGNA and held various positions in their Healthcare, COLI, and Retirement business units.

Scott holds a B.S. in actuarial science from Pennsylvania State University. He is a fellow of the Society of Actuaries and a member of the American Academy of Actuaries.

Justin Adamitis

Director

Justin Adamitis is a director of Prudential's distribution team working in the Pension Risk Transfer market, specifically selling single premium group annuity contracts in the terminal funding market.

Prior to joining Prudential, Justin held a variety of wholesaling and product management positions with institutional investment managers.

Justin holds a B.S. in mathematics from Seton Hall University. He holds a Series 7 license and a Series 63 registration.

 
Lynn R. Esenwine

Lynn R. Esenwine

Director

Lynn Esenwine is a senior member of Prudential's distribution team working in the Pension Risk Transfer market. She joined Prudential in 2002 as a pension actuarial specialist, routinely consulting with pension sponsors regarding accounting and funding regulations and regulatory reform.

Lynn received a B.S. in actuarial science with minors in math and supply chain management from Pennsylvania State University. She holds a Series 6 and 26 licenses and a 63 Registration.
